PRINCIPLES AND ETHICS
GSI Meridian Principles and Ethics
At GSI Meridian, we are committed to operating within the highest ethical considerations in our professional conduct and relations with clients and third parties and are dedicated to avoiding involvement in any kind of act that could be considered unethical.
Generally:
Respect and Integrity are the principle values that form the bedrock for our members in all our dealings. We respect our clients, as we respect our profession and ourselves. It goes without saying that legality is part of our ethical considerations and anything unlawful is considered unethical as well.
Within the firm:
We consider professionalism our central ethical point, drawing the line between the private and business spheres of our clients. Competency is another value indispensable to professionalism which we are committed to preserving. We work only with lawyers who are truly proficient in their fields and we support our members’ development to maintain and hone their expertise. Likewise, diversity is another consideration within the firm, to provide different perspectives and richness. At the same time, the firm accents the importance of just treatment and equal opportunities for its members.
Toward our clients:
Our ethical promises to our clients begin with our commitment to client needs, which requires us to provide the best possible service to our clients. We also observe confidentiality as a paramount professional commitment to our clients, without which reliability cannot be provided to the client, and that is the foundation on which we build a relationship with our clients.
