"As a foreigner coming to work as an intern in a large law firm in Istanbul, I was unsure of what to expect from my colleagues at GSI Meridian. Not only did I not know the Turkish language but I had only a rudimentary understanding of Turkish and Middle Eastern law. In my short time with GSI, I have been delighted to be working among a large team of people who could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Everyone from the partners to the support staff and other interns has taken the time to get to know me and aid me in any task or problem that was before me.
GSI Meridian is a company that seems to have limitless potential because of the vision and attitude towards their work that is exhibited from top to bottom on a daily basis. During my time there I was given tasks that utilized my unique skills as an American law student in ways that were beneficial to the firm but also good for my own professional development. Apart from the actual work, it has been a great learning experience just being able to talk with attorneys, interns, and other professionals who have grown up or lived in Turkey. My time at GSI has truly been memorable and I would recommend it to anyone looking for either future employment or a new legal team!"
